I love telling stories
I love stories and I love the challenge of telling stories through a visual vocabulary.
I also find it incredibly exciting and rewarding to work with and develop the communicative toolbox of my clients. There are so many ways to write, speak, behave, look, and separate a product or service from its competitors. Yet everyone uses the same arguments, tone-of-voice, photographs, colors, and typography. You shouldn’t have to wait or search for the logo to find out who’s talking. And I find great pleasure in making sure that isn’t the case.
With a background as an Art Director in advertising and two years studying D&AD at Berghs School of Communication, Jakob Westman has won a Cannes Lion, The One Show’s Silver Pen and Merit Award, the Mobius Award, the British D&AD Best Design Award, and several Swedish Design and Advertising Awards. Jakob works as a freelance creative and lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
